Enter the mainstream media in the USA. By now we should be straight as to what is and what is not a lie. It is time to hold the MSM accountable. The media has stopped reporting the news and has been manufacturing fake stories for our consumption. They have abdicated their #1 responsibility, to accurately and fairly report actual events, without bias. They do not do that.
There has always been a sort of unspoken set of rules that even journalists didn’t often cross, but that line has been thrown away. There used to be a time when a journalist would ask a question, then follow up if needed to ascertain the facts of the story they were reporting on. Even when the reporter disagreed with the facts as told to him, he was free to challenge, but usually ended up being fair and ethical when writing the story.
Now it seems as if the media cannot distinguish a legitimate point of disagreement from a lie. If the reporter believes Trump said something they disagree with, they will use lies, damn lies, obfuscation, omission, etc. to spin the statement to adhere to what their “narrative du jour” is.
