If Trump wakes up in the morning the Left calls him a racist. If Trump eats Wheaties in for breakfast the Left calls him racist. If Trump plays golf the Left calls him a white supremacist racist. If Trump does anything at all, he is called a racist. If Trump drinks chocolate milk he’s accused of “cultural appropriation”.
Bill Maher is another story. He can denigrate and make despicable racist comments to black veterans and former CIA employee, and the Left laughs with him. He’s done it before with Senators and Obama, so no big deal. He’s a self-described “house nigga”, so Bill feels entitled to use racially charged language and make fun of and/or
Maher had Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX) on his Real Time show on Friday evening. The Texas Republican, who is black, was asked by Maher on why he continues to side with Trump “the traitor” on the border wall issue.
Things didn’t go so well from that point for Maher.
“I’m a Republican because I believe in limited government,” Hurd explained.
“I’m just asking why you’re Republican? Because they’re not good at the debt, that was their big thing. You said limited government, they don’t do that,” Maher contested “What’s in it for you? What is in the Republican Party for you? You were in the CIA!”
“I was in the CIA for almost a decade. I was the dude in the back alleys at four o’clock in the morning collecting intelligence on threats to the homeland.”
“That’s where you’d collect it, huh?” Maher responded. “Wow. By the Popeyes Chicken?”
Remember back to pre-political correctness times when you could say “fried chicken” with a black person within 1 mile of you and you would not be labeled as a racist for saying “fried chicken”? We don’t, it’s been that long.
But his attempt at humor with his racial joke wasn’t very funny, well except to his all lily-white Antifa crowd in attendance in the studio. And make no mistake, he was belittling the Congressman for being black and for siding with Trump. He was calling him
The joke was a referring to the stereotype that black people eat fried chicken all the time. I eat fried chicken at least twice a week, usually more and I’m as white as rice. He’s VERY white and has a lot of white privilege to dole out to all the black thugs, like this Congressman, who appear on his show.
Maher was immediately inundated with criticism for his use of racially charged language, and as usual, he laughed it off. He should be fired as this is not the first, nor second or even the third time he’s made back door racially insensitive comments.
But remember, he’s said before that he’s a “house nigg”, so since he identifies somewhat as black, is he now allowed to racially harass other blacks? Is that how this works? Maybe we should ask Sean King or Rachel Dolezal about that?
In June of 2017, while conversing with Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), Maher used racially charged language after Sasse said Maher might benefit from doing some work in the fields of Nebraska. Here is a partial transcript:
MAHER: Halloween used to be a kid thing.
SASSE: It’s not anymore?
MAHER: Not out here. Adults dress up for Halloween. They don’t do that in Nebraska?
SASSE: It’s frowned upon. Yeah, we don’t do that quite as much.
MAHER: I’ve got to get to Nebraska more.
SASSE: You’re welcome. We’d love to have
MAHER: Work in the fields? Senator, I’m a house nigga [applause].
Eventually, due to pressure from the network and social media, Maher finally made a half-assed apology, saying it was inexcusable and tasteless, just like his remark to Rep. Hurd.
When will the media call for his firing? A boycott? A letter writing campaign? Some severe hand wringing? Anything?
